Rain garden in “Hałabała”
A new rain garden was created at Kindergarten No. 1. “Dwarf Hałabała” in Gryfino. Children attending the facility planted as many as 300 plants on an area of 34 m2.
This is the second investment of this type in Gryfino, as a few days ago a similar garden was created at Kindergarten No. 5. Thumbelina. Preschoolers learned about the advantages of using naturally obtained water resources – in this case, rainwater – to maintain greenery.
The activity took place as part of the project “Adaptation to climate change through the development of green and blue infrastructure in Gryfino”.
