New information and educational materials

The educational points in the “Laguna” Aquapark created in 2022 have been equipped with new information and educational content on climate change.

Four information levels were created on an external information medium:

• causes of climate change,
• effects of climate change,
• activities we can undertake ourselves for the climate,
• the “urban heat island” phenomenon.

The “Laguna” water park is visited annually by approximately 300,000 people from the city and commune of Gryfino, the West Pomeranian Voivodeship and bordering German communes, which expands the popularization of knowledge on this topic.

Additionally, as part of additional funding, 5 educational folders on climate change (versions for children, school youth and adults), establishing rain gardens and building insect houses were translated into German and English.

The publications were printed in 5,000 copies.
