Last workshops in Gryfino

On October 10-11, 2023, the last workshops for experts in the field of climate change were held in Gryfino, as part of the project: Adaptation to climate change.

The workshop was led by Sigurður Grétar Sigmarsson – Water Resources Engineer, who presented the concept of developing blue infrastructure in the Taras Południe area in Gryfino.

The concept of development of the Taras Południe area was a summary of workshops on the implementation of blue infrastructure in urban areas. These solutions take into account natural infrastructure elements such as water reservoirs or drainage ditches in places where the introduction of a storm sewage pipe system can be avoided.

Planning this type of solutions at the stage of developing a spatial development plan is a model solution for rainwater management in urban areas.

The workshops ended with a walk around all the areas in Gryfino developed as part of the project.
