How to make home rain garden?

At the beginning of October, a series of training courses for the inhabitants of the Gryfino Commune on setting up home rain gardens began. The first training took place in Drzenin and was attended by 20 instructors of village centers run by the Gryfino Community Center and members of the Country Housewives Association.

The next two meetings were held in Stare Brynki and Sobiemyśl, where children and youths met.

Each time, the training participants learned: what are rain gardens, why are they needed and how to set them up? Each of the participants of the meeting have received as a gift two plants suitable for planting in a rain garden.

The training is conducted by the Sosenka Nature Studio from Szczecin. The next trainings will take place in the spring and summer of 2023.
