Energy-saving solar lighting
As part of additional funding from the European Economic Area fund received in February 2024, the Gryfino Commune, among others, purchased and installed energy-saving lighting using renewable energy sources.
The lamps were installed in municipal green recreational areas to illuminate them and improve safety.
A total of 12 solar lamps were installed: 4 each in the “Eko zakątek”, “Opolanka” and on the road leading to the “Crooked Forest“ natural monument.

The project benefits from a 815 968,81 EUR (3 521 639,80 PLN) grant from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the EEA (European Economic Area) Grants. The aim of the project is to mitigate climate change and adapt to it’s effects. More informations >
